Vincent Poggioreale maintains several professional qualifications as part of his job duties, and has earned S-56 certification.

With tens of thousands of construction-related accidents across the United States each year, workplace safety is a major concern for construction firms and regulatory officials alike. New York City’s building code maintains a number of regulations related to safety inspections and safety supervision. For example, whenever a building site requires the presence of a site safety manager or site safety coordinator, the city requires that a construction site fire safety manager with an S-56 certification also be present.

To earn the S-56 certification, applicants must first pass a certified construction site safety manager course. Applicants must also either submit a site safety manager or coordinator certificate, or proof that he or she has worked full-time in the industry for 3 of the past 6 years. Applicants fulfilling these requirements are eligible to take the S-56 certification test once they pay the application fee and submit proof of identification.

The Honda Civic – An Enduring, Customization-Friendly Model

Based in Yonkers, New York, Vincent Poggioreale works with B & V Contracting as supervisor and safety coordinator, and is tasked with ensuring the integrity of work completed at various building sites. A custom car enthusiast, Vincent Poggioreale regularly attends Honda Day shows and has customized Mitsubishi Evo and Honda Civic SI models.

Nearly a half century old, the Civic was introduced by Honda in 1972 and reached the US market a year later. The fuel-efficient car also had a pioneering focus on safety that has placed it at the top of consumer groups’ safety lists for decades.

In performance rankings, the Civic’s reliable base engine and quick acceleration consistently outpaces other cars in its price range such as the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Hyundai Elantra, Mazda3, and Volkswagen Jetta.

Another key to the Civic’s popularity is a best-in-class design when it comes to allowing customization such as performance modifications, suspension kits, trim kits, and rims that add to the driving experience for fans of the brand.

Three New 2019 Air Jordans Push the Sneaker Envelope

An established Yonkers construction professional, Vincent Poggioreale serves as supervisor and safety coordinator at B & V Contracting. A custom car enthusiast, Vincent Poggioreale also collects sneakers and has 15 pairs of Nike Air Jordans.

Launched in 1985 at the beginning of Michael Jordan’s legendary NBA career, the Air Jordan has been updated continually with new sought-after styles in the years since and stands as the most popular signature shoe line ever.

Released on November 2, 2019, the $160 Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Fearless” takes the original Air Jordan design and combines varsity red with university blue. This represents the pathway between Jordan’s collegiate career at the University of North Carolina and his time with the NBA Bulls. With the shoe’s upper crafted from patent leather, the sneaker also incorporates a jeweled Wings logo that hearkens back to early 2000s Mids editions.

Released in time for Halloween, another recent debut is the Russell Westbrook-designed Why Not Zer0.2 PE, which has been given the nickname “Mummy.” This unique shoe has under-layers of white and pale green, wrapped by tan swatches that resemble “aged gauze.” A third new release is the black and white Air Jordan XXXIV, which has been dubbed “Eclipse” and has a space-boot-inspired design as a nod to space exploration.
